Abstract

The aim of this independent study is to (1) Study problems and obstacles to effective performance of investigator police in Mae Hong Son provincial police. (2) Study the impacts of jobs character and economic situation on performance of the investigator police. (3) Find solutions to the problems and obstacles to effective performance. The survey is conducted on 71 investigator policy in Mac Hong son provincial police in order to detain information about personal information, job’s character, economic situation and performance of investigator police. The survey consists of 67 questions. The data detained are analyzed using descriptive statistics. The study found that 1) Problems and obstacles to effective performance of investigator police are in medium level. 2) Jobs characters and economic situation which have impact on performance of investigator police are (1) Communication (2) Process (3) Claims against police (4) Cooperation (5) Social protection (6) Transportation (7) Standard of living (8) Politic on solutions (9) technologies (10) Training which correspond to the hypothesis of the study. 3) Solutions consist of (1) Decrease strictness of regulations (2) Find ways to cooperate with other institutions (3) Adjust budget according to load of work (Area responsible) (4) Encourage and award the police (5) Develop and cultivate good value.
